The following course is jointly implemented by NSJ and the Department of Journalism and Media Studies, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa. Successful participants are awarded the University’s Certificate of Competence. This is a Postgraduate certificate, which, if one is accepted into the University’s Journalism Honours degree programme, can be converted into a credit (25%) towards that degree. Participants are expected to display high level of performance in all assignments, tests and examinations conducted by the University through their facilitators and trainers.
Participants on this course, although partially run with Wits University, will NOT receive the University’s Certificate of Competence. Participants sponsored by NSJ will receive Certificate of attendance.
